Who will you be talking to?
Me, the whole way through. I write the words, build the site and look after it once it's online — there's no account manager and no call centre. If you want something changed, you message me and I do it.
Who I build for in Chester
Chester is a walled city with the Rows above its shopfronts and the Dee running past it, mixing long-established firms with newer ones. Plumbers, gas engineers, electricians, roofers and builders, plus the cafés, salons and one-person businesses in between.
Whatever you do, the job of your website is the same: say clearly what you do, show people you're local, and make it dead easy to get in touch.
- A design that works properly on every phone
- Big tap-to-call and WhatsApp buttons
- Your services, and the towns you cover
- Your reviews and any qualifications, like Gas Safe or NICEIC
- Setup so Google can read your site properly
- Hosting and changes looked after for you

Apex Gas in Crewe is the best example of what I do. It's straightforward, it's quick on a phone, and the call and WhatsApp buttons sit right where people expect them. Here's what Dean left in his Google review:
“I can't fault Charlie for his work ethic and talent for producing quality work. If your looking for a web designer then he's your man, thank you for your hard work”

How much does a website cost?
£350 to build, then £25 a month for hosting and changes. My first three customers get the build for £250. You see a free demo before you decide anything. If you'd like the bigger picture, read how much a website costs in the UK.
How does it work?
- 01Quick chat. Call, WhatsApp or fill in the quote form and tell me about your business.
- 02Free demo. I build a demo of your site and send you the link.
- 03Tweak it. Tell me what to change before anything goes live.
- 04Go live. I put it online and look after it.

Do you work with Chester businesses?
Yes. I'm based in Crewe and I build websites for businesses across Chester and Cheshire West, Chester included. Most of the work happens over the phone and WhatsApp.

I'm just starting out — do I need a website yet?
If people can't find you, they can't hire you. A simple site with your services, your number and a bit about your work can be up and earning its keep quickly, and it grows as you do. I've written about this in my guide, do you actually need a website.
Can you redo my existing website?
Yes. If your current site is slow, out of date or hard to use on a phone, I can build you a new one. You still get a free demo first.
