What should a plumber's website have?
A big call button at the top, a clear list of the jobs you do, the towns you cover, your reviews and any registrations like WaterSafe or Gas Safe. It needs to load fast on a phone, because that's where most people look for a plumber.
Built around how people find a plumber
People don't search for "plumber" and stop there. They might search for "plumber Crewe" or "bathroom fitting Sandbach". So I build your site around the work you actually want:
- A clear section or page for each main job, from leaks and bathrooms to boilers and radiators
- Emergency callouts made obvious if you do them, with the hours you cover
- Tap-to-call and WhatsApp buttons on every screen
- Your Google reviews, so new customers can see you're trusted
- Photos of your own work, not stock pictures
- Your registrations, such as WaterSafe, Gas Safe or CIPHE membership, if you have them
Example: a heating engineer in Crewe
Apex Gas Services' site gives each job its own page: boiler repairs, boiler servicing, new boilers, gas safety certificates, gas leaks and cooker installation. Each page answers what a customer is searching for and ends with a call button.
“I can't fault Charlie for his work ethic and talent for producing quality work. If your looking for a web designer then he's your man, thank you for your hard work”
Dean R., Apex Gas Services, Crewe, in his Google review. See the full project
How much does it cost?
£350 to build, then £25 a month for hosting and changes. My first three customers get the build for £250. You see a free demo of your site on your own phone before you decide. For a wider look at prices, read how much a website costs in the UK.
How does it work?
- 01Quick chat. Call, WhatsApp or fill in the quote form and tell me about your business.
- 02Free demo. I build a demo of your site and send you the link.
- 03Tweak it. Tell me what to change before anything goes live.
- 04Go live. I put it online and look after it.

Questions
How much does a website for a plumber cost?
With me it's £350 to build, then £25 a month for hosting and changes. My first three customers get the build for £250. You see a free demo before you pay anything.
Can each job have its own page?
Yes. If you want to be found for boiler repairs, bathroom fitting and emergency callouts, each one can have its own page that says exactly what you do and where. That's how I built the Apex Gas Services site.
I'm flat out. Do I have to write it all myself?
No. Tell me which plumbing jobs you take on and where you travel. I'll write the words from our chat or WhatsApp messages, and you can check I've got it right.
Will a website get me more calls from Google?
It can help people find out about your plumbing work and get in touch. I'll make your services and coverage clear, but I can't promise rankings or a particular number of calls.
I already get work from word of mouth. Why bother?
Even when someone's been recommended to you, they usually look you up first. A proper website shows them you're the real deal and gives them your number in one tap.
